Artweaver

Artweaver is a graphic design and art program somewhat reminiscent of Photoshop. Artweaver comes with tools and resources that make it suitable not only to the hobbyist but to many professionals as well.

• A primary plus of Artweaver is its interface. The interface of the application does look very similar to that of Photoshop. For this reason, the Artweaver interface is easy to master and familiar to many people.
• Artweaver features a layer structure. This permits a user the ability to lay down a background and then work on designs that will appear on top of that rear image or design. The functionality grants a user a great deal of versatility.
• Another benefit associated with Artweaver is control. With many similar types of applications, a user has only very basic control over a tool -- a brush, for example. With Artweaver, a user has a great deal more control. For example, rather then just being able to guide digital brush back and forth, a user is able to really fine tune what is done with a brush. In addition, when a brush is used, an independent color palette opens at the same time.
• Artweaver is easy to download and install, and does both quickly. In other words, a person can be ready to use Artweaver in very little time.
• Unlike a host of other similar types of products available on the Internet today, Artweaver truly is a free software application.
